Welcome to the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea Choice-Based Lettings Scheme.

Allocation of Properties

In line with the Allocations Scheme, the Council will be making direct offers of social housing to two groups of applicants who have a high priority for re-housing. These are statutory homeless families placed in temporary accommodation, and families with a very high priority for re-housing on health grounds who require accessible accommodation. This is to ensure the Council makes the best use of the limited availability of housing. Properties will still be advertised on the Council’s Choice-based Lettings scheme, Home Connections. All applicants to the Housing Register who have a high priority for re-housing are encouraged to continue to bid for advertised properties and to be as flexible as possible when doing so to increase their chances of being re-housed
